The other day I was reading a Tamil book on Navakali yatra by author SAVI and a couple of passages moved me so much that I can't help posting this...
A few days before he started for the Navakali Yatra, Mahatma Gandhiji was talking to the villagers on the upcoming yatra: "If this fails, it will not be a failure of Ahimsa, but my failure of correctly applying Ahimsa. Future leaders following Ahimsa will succeed...."
Just a couple of sentences, but it shows his absolute conviction and faith in Ahimsa, the fact that he held Ahimsa more dearer to him than his life, his taking responsibility for his actions - marks of a true leader...
