Sevalaya is charitable non-profit institution, inspired in to existence by the teachings/writings of Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and MahaKavi Bharathi.
Sevalaya is a Registered Charity in India. Indian Tax Payers can claim tax exemption for 50 % their contributions under Sec 80 G and 100% for their contributions to notified Projects under Income Tax Act of India. Sevalaya is also registered with FCRA and is eligible to receive Foreign contributions.

Sevalaya offers volunteering opportunities in its various area of activities. Many City Colleges conduct their NSS camps where about 100 NSS Students from each college camp at Sevalaya and volunteer their services. Sevalaya also has international volunteers serving at the campus. By providing volunteering opportunities Sevalaya encourages volunteering. 

 Sevalaya is shortlisted for " Leader in Volunteering Engagement" Category by iVolunteer Awards committee. The top five, most popular entries, chosen on the basis of public votes, will win a direct entry to the national jury level.Pl. vote for Sevalaya! To vote pl. click here

Ms. Rosa Lotte, a volunteer from Germany is at Sevalaya campus. She isactively engaged in organic farming. a multi talented person she also teaches music, juggling of balls and diabolo tricks to the children. She is at present creaing an Organic Peace Orchard at Sevalaya.
