Sevalaya is charitable non-profit institution, inspired in to existence by the teachings/writings of Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and MahaKavi Bharathi.
Sevalaya is a Registered Charity in India. Indian Tax Payers can claim tax exemption for 50 % their contributions under Sec 80 G and 100% for their contributions to notified Projects under Income Tax Act of India. Sevalaya is also registered with FCRA and is eligible to receive Foreign contributions.

Awards and more Awards for Sevalya!

The Tamil Nadu State Human rights Vigilance organization selects Sevalaya for "Star Achiever" Award for this year.

The award will be presented on 29th Nov 2009, Sunday at German Hall, 4 PM. ( 17, Prakasam Street, T. Nagar, Chennai 17 - Opposite to Dass Color labs).

Earlier this month, Rotary club presented "Human Excellence" award to Sevalaya for this year at a function held in Hotel Savera, Chennai on 19th Nov, 6:30 PM.
